Because it is proven that when water level at Sunter Hulu reached Alert 2 status, residential areas in RW 06, RW 07 and RW 08 that were usually flooded, but now they are no longer flooded.
"Its construction is targeted to finish in the end of December," he asserted.
This retention basin is not only used as reservoir and flood control, but also one of water tourism destinations in East Jakarta.
Thus, his side will arrange and beautify this area to make it more beautiful and comfortable to be visited by residents or tourists.
"At least, around this retention basin will be plated with typical betawi plants such as Kecapi, Jamblang, Rambutan, Dukuh Condet, and others," he explained.
